Speaker’s Profile:
Ning Wei is currently the Executive Vice Dean and Secretary-General of the China Insurance Research Institute at Beijing Technology and Business University. He is a lecturer for the national-level quality course “Insurance”, and the head of the SOA Actuarial International Certification Program at Beijing Technology and Business University. He also serves as the Secretary-General of the Commercial Insurance Research Branch of the China Social Security Society, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commercial Insurance Services Branch of the China Health Management Association, Executive Director of the Risk Management and Actuarial Branch of the Chinese Association of Applied Statistics, Member of the Education Examination Committee of the China Actuaries Association, and Director of the Beijing Insurance Society. He has previously served as the Head of the Risk Management and Insurance Department at Beijing Technology and Business University, Deputy Director of the Finance Bureau of Tongzhou District, Beijing (on secondment), and Vice Dean of the School of Economics.
