Speaker: Associate Professor Qin Meng
Speaker’s Profile:
Qin Meng holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (National Academy of Governance). She is currently an Associate Professor and specially appointed professor (fourth level) at the School of Marxism, Qingdao University, and a master’s supervisor. Additionally, she is a postdoctoral researcher at Qingdao University (Business School), West University of Timisoara (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), and Lebanese American University (Adnan Kassar School of Business). She has led one provincial-level project and one municipal-level project, participated in one general project of the National Social Science Fund, and three provincial and ministerial-level projects. As the first author or corresponding author, she has published over 50 papers in high-impact SSCI journals such as “Technological Forecasting & Social Change”, “Energy Economics”, and “Resources Policy”, including more than 10 highly cited papers. She has also published over 10 papers in CSSCI journals like “Tourism Tribune”, “Asia-Pacific Economic Review”, and “Scientific Socialism”.
