主講人簡(jiǎn)介：龔剛教授1995年畢業(yè)于美國(guó)New School University,，獲經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)為云南財(cái)經(jīng)大學(xué)首席教授,，金融研究院院長(zhǎng),。同時(shí),，龔教授還擔(dān)任國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)雜志 Metroeconomica（SSCI indexed，由 Blackwell Press 出版）的顧問委員會(huì)（advisory board）委員,，《南開經(jīng)濟(jì)研究》執(zhí)行主編,。
龔教授1997年至1998年擔(dān)任南非約翰內(nèi)斯堡國(guó)家經(jīng)濟(jì)政策研究所(由聯(lián)合國(guó)資助)高級(jí)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家，自1999年開始,，擔(dān)任德國(guó) Bielefeld 大學(xué)實(shí)證宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)研究中心助理研究員（2002年以后為兼職）,，2004年曾在歐洲中央銀行任職，2005年至2007年受聘于荷蘭 Leiden University,，擔(dān)任客座講座教授,。2002年至2007年擔(dān)任清華大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)管理學(xué)院副教授，2007年至2014年為南開大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院,，教授,，博士生導(dǎo)師，《南開經(jīng)濟(jì)研究》副主編,，南開大學(xué)當(dāng)代中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)研究中心（虛體）主任,。2014年至今為云南財(cái)經(jīng)大學(xué)特聘首席教授，金融研究院院長(zhǎng),，博士生導(dǎo)師,。
龔教授的主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)楫?dāng)代中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)，（發(fā)展中國(guó)家和開放）宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué),，國(guó)際金融,，宏觀計(jì)量模型，動(dòng)態(tài)優(yōu)化,，非線性動(dòng)態(tài)系統(tǒng),，經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)和金融學(xué)的可計(jì)算方法。龔教授曾出版《人民幣突圍——走向強(qiáng)勢(shì)貨幣戰(zhàn)略》,、Contemporary Chinese Economy（該著是中國(guó)第一部以版權(quán)輸出的形式走向世界的經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)著作,，被選入2010年國(guó)家新聞出版總署“國(guó)際經(jīng)典出版工程”）、《宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)—中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的視角（第二版）》,、《當(dāng)代中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)——第三種聲音》,、Stochastic Dynamic Macroeconomics: Theory and Empirical Evidence,、The Forces of Economic Growth: A Time Series Perspectives、《宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)?中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的視角》等專著,，并在《中國(guó)社會(huì)科學(xué)》,、《經(jīng)濟(jì)研究》、《管理世界》,、《世界經(jīng)濟(jì)》,、《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)季刊》、《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)動(dòng)態(tài)》,、China Economic Review等國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表研究成果43篇,。龔教授現(xiàn)主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金面上項(xiàng)目《宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)視角下中國(guó)住房市場(chǎng)價(jià)格研究》，并與中國(guó)人民銀行昆明支行行長(zhǎng)楊小平共同主持云南省政府項(xiàng)目《強(qiáng)化昆明在沿邊金融綜合改革試驗(yàn)區(qū)建設(shè)中的龍頭作用研究》,。
內(nèi)容提要：We study economic fluctuation and business cycles from the perspective of stabilizing and destabilizing mechanism. While price adjustment as a stabilizing mechanism, whether there exist other mechanisms to destabilize the economy? We find that as earlier as in 1939, Harrod had already proved the existence of destabilization mechanism— the firm’s investment adjustment— by showing the knife-edge problem. For this, we construct a macro-dynamic model with investment and price as the core macroeconomic variables. The analysis shows that the interaction between the stabilizing mechanism (price adjustment) and the destabilizing mechanism (investment adjustment) generates fluctuation and cycles for the economy. Yet, due to the sticky adjustment, the price adjustment as a stabilization mechanism may not be sufficient for the economy to be stabilized. In this case, additional stabilization from government may become necessary.
