我校國土資源與持續(xù)發(fā)展研究所所長楊子生教授與聯(lián)合國大學(xué)（UNU）Liang Luohui先生合作撰寫的論文《Traditional Land Use for Sustainable Land Use: The Case of Yunnan Province, China》（楊子生教授為第一作者）在聯(lián)合國教科文組織（UNESCO）主持的重大計劃項(xiàng)目《Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems (EOLSS)》的“Human Resource System Challenge”第Ⅶ卷上順利發(fā)表（全文近2萬字）,。
《Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems》目前共出版了數(shù)十卷，論文作者來自世界主要國家,，楊子生教授是在《Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems》上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文的為數(shù)不多的中國專家之一,。論文的發(fā)表為Yunnan University of Finance and Economics（云南財貿(mào)學(xué)院英文名）在聯(lián)合國教科文組織（UNESCO）贏得了國際聲譽(yù)，擴(kuò)大了我校的國際知名度,。
據(jù)悉,，楊子生教授今年還在新創(chuàng)刊的國際山地科學(xué)研究領(lǐng)域的英文學(xué)術(shù)期刊《Journal of Mountain Science》第1卷第1期和第3期分別發(fā)表論文《Soil Erosion under Different Land Use Types and Zones in Jinsha River Basin in Yunnan Province, China》和《Land Use Change during 1960 ~ 2000 Period and Its Eco-environmental Effects in the Middle and Upper Reaches of the Yangtze River: a Case Study in Yiliang County, Yunnan Province, China》，在學(xué)術(shù)界產(chǎn)生了較大的反響,。
