李繼彬教授應(yīng)邀到統(tǒng)計(jì)與數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院講學(xué)

    7月5日下午,，在我校北院卓遠(yuǎn)樓305會(huì)議室,，李繼彬教授應(yīng)邀為統(tǒng)計(jì)與數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)院師生作專題學(xué)術(shù)講座,。我校部分教師、碩士研究生聽取了報(bào)告并展開了研討交流,。
    李繼彬教授的報(bào)告題為“Singular Nonlinear Wave Motion in Mechanical and Physical Models: Dynamical System Method ”,。 主要介紹了以下三個(gè)方面的內(nèi)容：1.Nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) arising in many physics fields like the condense matter physics, fluid mechanics and plasma physics optics exhibit a rich variety of travelling wave phenomena, including homoclinic solution, heteroclinic solution and periodic solutions. 2. A wealth of methods have been developed to find these exact physically significant solutions of a PDE though it is rather difficult. Some of the most important methods are the inverse scattering transformation (IST), bilinear method, symmetry reduction, B?cklund and Darboux transformations and so on.3. Recently, a new powerful method, the bifurcation theory method of dynamical systems, has been developed to the study of travelling wave solutions of PDEs.

    李繼彬,，男，漢族,，1943年2月生于云南騰沖和順,。1964年畢業(yè)于云南大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系。1987年起任教授,。曾任昆明理工大學(xué)理學(xué)院院長,，云南省第六、七,、八屆政協(xié)委員,，國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會(huì)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)科評(píng)審組第六、七兩屆專家組成員,，中國數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)第九,、十兩屆理事和中國工業(yè)與應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)兩屆理事，云南省科學(xué)技術(shù)委員會(huì)常務(wù)委員,， 云南省數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)理事長,，云南省應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)研究所副所長。 現(xiàn)任《應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)與力學(xué)》,、《微分方程年刊》等全國性刊物的編委,，《非線性動(dòng)力學(xué)報(bào)》常務(wù)編委；美國《數(shù)學(xué)評(píng)論》與德國《數(shù)學(xué)文摘》評(píng)論員,，四川大學(xué),、重慶大學(xué),、云南大學(xué)、云南師范大學(xué),、浙江師范大學(xué)等校兼職教授,，四川大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)專業(yè)博士生導(dǎo)師，昆明理工大學(xué)工程力學(xué)專業(yè)博士生導(dǎo)師,，動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)與非線性研究中心負(fù)責(zé)人,。
