摘要：Using structural magnetic resonance imaging data from the UK Biobank (n = 33293), a brain age predictor was trained using a machine learning technique in the non-smoker group (n = 14667) and then tested in the smoker group (n = 18626) to determine the relationships between BrainAge Gap and smoking parameters. Further, we examined whether smoking was associated with poorer cognition and whether this relationship was mediated by brain age. The study provides insight into the association between smoking, brain ageing, and cognition, which provide more publicly acceptable propaganda against smoking.

郭水霞,，湖南師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)院副院長(zhǎng)，博士生導(dǎo)師,，湖南省芙蓉學(xué)者特聘教授,、“統(tǒng)計(jì)學(xué)”國(guó)家一流本科專業(yè)負(fù)責(zé)人、“應(yīng)用統(tǒng)計(jì)與數(shù)據(jù)科學(xué)”湖南省高校重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室負(fù)責(zé)人,、湖南省杰出青年基金獲得者,。入選“教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃”、湖南省“新世紀(jì)121工程人員”,。主要研究方向?yàn)獒t(yī)學(xué)影像大數(shù)據(jù)的分析與應(yīng)用,，基于醫(yī)學(xué)影像數(shù)據(jù)的精神疾病預(yù)測(cè)研究。主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金4項(xiàng),，發(fā)表SCI論文30余篇,，單篇論文最高引用200余次,。
